Coba, a window to the Mayan knowledge!

Coba, “water curled” city surrounded with lakes, where the experts were living; the big astronomers. Constructed 1,200 years ago, the only site that preserves great variety of steles or calendars, where the Maya was guarding records of such specific events as wars, weddings, ascents to the power among others. Important temples stand out like: the church, the observatory and Nohochmul, the highest temple and the only one that is possible to climb.
